In the village you can visit: The Parish Church of San Juan Bautista: This 17th-century Baroque building is believed to date back to the Early Middle Ages, as there are inscriptions from 1216. The Hermitage of Santa Marina: Located atop the Urbasa mountain range, it offers a privileged viewpoint overlooking the Burunda Valley. Remains of the old ironworks: Built in the mid-19th century. Two traditional washhouses, both perfectly preserved. The Urbasa and Andia mountain ranges, as well as the Aralar range, offer countless hiking trails of varying difficulty levels to suit all types of hikers. You’ll find several on any trekking or hiking website. Here are a few highlights: The Aralar mountain range from Lizarrusti, where the Aralar Natural Park Interpretation Center, Lizarrustiko Parketxea, is located (12 kilometers from Angoiko Etxea). From here, several routes begin that lead into the park, such as the route to the Lareo reservoir. You can take advantage of the opportunity to complete your day at the Urbitarte Cider House in Ataun. Sanctuary of San Miguel de Aralar. Climbing up through Uharte Arakil, you can take the opportunity to see the Zamartze Monastery. And if you then return via Lekumberri, there you can enjoy the Plazaola Greenway or visit the Mendukilo Caves.

 

Urbasa mountain range; the most well-known spot is the source of the Urederra River (requirements: https://urederra.amescoa.com/es/reservas/reservar.html). You can also take one of the routes that start from the Urbasa Natural Park information center. Or climb to the Lizarraga pass; from there you can take walks along the path that leads into the Urbasa mountain range on one side and the Andia mountain range on the other. The Route of the Singular Oaks and the Dolmen Route in Etxarri Aranatz are located 5 kilometers from the house. From Bakaiku, you can access several sections of the Bernoa Causeway, a route that covers a large part of the valley with different trails. Visit the Lacturale Integrated Dairy Production Interpretation Center in Etxeberri (20 kilometers from Angoiko Etxea) The Basabere Farm School in Lezaun, in the Andia mountain range, is a wonderful option for families with children.
