Bakaiku is a municipality of 340 inhabitants in the Foral Community of Navarre, within the geographical area known as the Navarrese Mountains.
The town is located on the slopes of the Urbasa mountain range, surrounded by green meadows and lush oak and beech forests, in northwestern Navarre, in the Barranca region, in the Sakana Valley.
Bakaiku is very well connected by road, situated halfway between Pamplona (45 kilometers) and Vitoria-Gasteiz (50 kilometers), 80 kilometers from San Sebastián, and 115 kilometers from Bilbao. Even cities like Bayonne and Biarritz in the French Basque Country are about 120 kilometers away.
This strategic location makes our town an excellent starting point for exploring the entire Basque Country.
